Stardust Power Engages Brown & Root for Geotechnical Site Engineering in Muskogee
SDST•Stardust Power has begun site engineering activities at its Muskogee, Oklahoma refinery, engaging Brown & Root to translate completed FEL-3 engineering into execution‐level design through geotechnical borings and subsurface investigations. The refinery is designed for up to 50,000 metric tons per annum of battery-grade lithium carbonate.
1. Transition to Execution-Level Design
With FEL-3 engineering complete, Stardust Power has initiated site-specific engineering activities at its Muskogee refinery, moving the project into execution-level design to reduce risks and refine construction planning.
2. Brown & Root Engagement
The company engaged Brown & Root to conduct geotechnical work, including site borings and subsurface investigations, leveraging the three-dimensional plant model to generate detailed foundation and civil design inputs.
3. Geotechnical Investigations Impact
Results from subsurface evaluations across key facility locations will inform procurement, foundation engineering and infrastructure planning, supporting efficient execution and advancing the refinery toward its 50,000 metric tons per annum capacity.
