Starfighters Space to Join Russell 3000 on June 29, 2026
SIDU•Starfighters Space will join the Russell 3000 Index on June 29, 2026, after reaching the size threshold among roughly 4,000 U.S. firms based on April 30 market-cap rankings. Approximately $12.2 trillion in assets benchmarked to Russell U.S. indexes now must include its shares, likely boosting trading liquidity and institutional visibility.
1. Russell 3000 Index Inclusion
Starfighters Space reached the size cutoff for the Russell 3000® Index based on total market capitalization as of April 30, earning a spot among the top 4,000 U.S. stocks in the semi-annual reconstitution. Effective June 29, 2026, shares will be added automatically without committee approval, marking a rapid index entry just seven months after its December 2025 IPO.
2. Passive Fund Inflows and Liquidity
With approximately $12.2 trillion tied to Russell U.S. benchmarks, passive index funds and ETFs will be structurally required to purchase Starfighters Space shares in proportion to its index weight. This inclusion also prompts active managers tracking those indexes to evaluate the stock, potentially increasing trading volume, bid-ask tightness and broadening the institutional investor base.
3. Starfighters Space Operations and Growth
Operating from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, the company maintains the only commercial fleet of F-104 supersonic aircraft for MACH 2+ missions and is developing its STARLAUNCH air-launch platform. This reusable, aircraft-based system aims to reduce drag and weather constraints, offering responsive payload deployment, microgravity testing, hypersonic trials and national security launch services.
