SunCoke Energy appoints Wendell L. Carter to board, names him to compensation and governance committees
SXC•Carter’s background at Cleveland-Cliffs
Carter most recently served as executive vice president, technology, at Cleveland-Cliffs, overseeing research, engineering, quality, and production planning.
He previously led Cleveland-Cliffs’ West Operations and also held senior leadership roles in flat-rolled steel operations and technology.
Board appointment and committee assignments
SunCoke Energy appointed Wendell L. Carter to its board, effective immediately.
Carter will join the board’s Compensation Committee and Governance Committee.
He will stand for election at the annual stockholders meeting in May 2027.
