Telitacicept demonstrates durable kidney function preservation through two years in phase 3 IgA nephropathy trial
VOR•Vor Biopharma said telitacicept reduced the risk of at least 30% eGFR decline by 89% and at least 40% decline by 81% in the phase 3 Teligan trial. There were no kidney failure events in the treatment group, compared with five in the placebo group, including two requiring dialysis.
1. Two-year trial results
Vor Biopharma said telitacicept preserved kidney function through two years in the phase 3 Teligan trial in IgA nephropathy. The drug reduced the risk of at least 30% eGFR decline by 89% and at least 40% decline by 81%.
2. Kidney failure events
There were no kidney failure events in the telitacicept group, compared with five in the placebo group, including two that required dialysis. Vor Biopharma also said telitacicept sustained proteinuria reductions through 104 weeks and had a favorable safety profile.
