TeraWulf doubles power capacity at Kentucky data center campus; shares rise
WULF•TeraWulf increased contracted power capacity at its Muskie Data Campus in eastern Kentucky to 1 gigawatt from 500 megawatts. The amended agreement advances delivery of the second 500-megawatt phase to 2029 from 2030, subject to regulatory approval and Kentucky Power’s construction schedule.
1. Expanded power agreement
TeraWulf signed an amended agreement with Kentucky Power to double contracted capacity at its Muskie Data Campus to 1 gigawatt. The deal advances the planned delivery of the second 500-megawatt phase to 2029 from 2030, subject to Kentucky Public Service Commission approval and Kentucky Power’s construction schedule. It is expected to provide $100 million in winter bill credits for Kentucky Power residential customers over the contract’s first 10 years, funded by TeraWulf.
