In February 2026, TMX Group reported total trading volume of 16,337,914,306 shares with a traded value of $426.13 billion and 33.31 million transactions. Daily averages stood at 859.9 million shares, $22.43 billion in value and 1.75 million transactions. Year-to-date volume rose 55.5% to 36.16 billion, value climbed 48.9% to $859.34 billion and transactions were up 48.8% at 68.99 million.
2. Toronto Stock Exchange Performance
Toronto Stock Exchange activity showed 10,032,758,420 shares traded in February, valued at $399.86 billion across 28.45 million transactions. Daily averages were 528.0 million shares and $21.05 billion in value. Year-to-date volume increased 40.3% to 20.69 billion and value jumped 51.0% to $801.59 billion, with transactions up 42.8% at 57.81 million.
3. TSX Venture Exchange Surge
TSX Venture Exchange saw 5,003,027,865 shares traded in February worth $5.21 billion over 2.26 million transactions, with daily averages of 263.3 million shares and $274.0 million in value. Year-to-date figures showed volume up 104.2% at 12.35 billion, value soaring 312.2% to $12.47 billion and transactions rising 239.4% to 5.38 million.
