U.S.-listed ETF notional value traded reached $122 billion in September, up 52% year over year, and totaled $308 billion in the third quarter. Fixed income ETFs accounted for 43% of U.S. activity, while equities represented 53% of notional value traded.
2. European ETF activity
European-listed ETF trading reached €69 billion, the platform’s second-highest September level. Equity ETFs drove 72% of European flow; Global Equities traded nearly €17 billion with a 64% buy ratio.
