Trane signs multi-year climate partnership with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment to cut venue emissions
TT•Trane Technologies signed a multi-year climate innovation partnership with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment covering HVAC and thermal management at KSE venues. The companies aim to reduce energy use and emissions; Trane says it has cut operational greenhouse gas emissions 59% since 2019.
1. Partnership targets venue emissions
The partnership covers HVAC and thermal management across KSE venues, using energy-efficient systems, ultra-low-emission heating and cooling, and digital services to aim to reduce real-time energy use and emissions at high-occupancy sites. It aligns with Trane’s Gigaton Challenge to reduce 1 billion metric tons of customer carbon emissions by 2030; Trane also reported 44% recycled content in primary product materials.
