Trump AI task force leaders to meet on Thursday, vice chair says
QQQ•The four leaders of President Donald Trump's AI task force are slated to meet Thursday, and Vice Chair Scott Kupor expects the full committee to convene next week.
1. Task force meetings
Kupor said he expects the group to release a charter outlining its goals and responsibilities after its first full committee meeting. The committee will have four to five full-time staff members.
2. AI oversight focus
Kupor said he will engage industries including banking, healthcare and utilities to understand how AI could affect their exposure to cyber threats. Emil Michael will work directly with AI developers, Kupor said.
