3. Phase III Fab and Strategic Partnerships
The newly completed Phase III facility at Fab 12i in Singapore is now operational, enhancing capacity for specialty processes. United Microelectronics also signed a 12-nanometer collaboration with Intel and a memorandum of understanding with Polar Semiconductor, reinforcing its shift toward high-value platforms.
