The company said contract logistics growth came from new and expanded value-added programs and dedicated transportation, partly offset by fewer rail service programs. Improved intermodal operating performance led to positive segment operating income. Universal Logistics declared a quarterly dividend of $0.105 per share and said it remains focused on reducing debt while supporting operations and strategic priorities.
