U.S. stocks on the move: RXO, Harley-Davidson, Vistra
SPY•U.S. stock index futures dipped as technology stocks took a breather after reaching record highs, while investors sought clues on monetary policy with Treasury yields and oil prices still elevated. RXO, Harley-Davidson and Vistra were among stocks moving in premarket trading.
1. Stocks in focus
RXO gained after C.H. Robinson unveiled a $5.8 billion acquisition, while Harley-Davidson rose after Citigroup upgraded the stock to “buy.” Vistra rose on reports of a $4.2 billion U.S. nuclear loan.
2. Other movers
GEO Group rose after a $950 million sale of an ICE facility and an expanded stock buyback. Vaxcyte surged after reporting late-stage trial success for its pneumococcal vaccine, Estée Lauder rose after a Barclays upgrade to “overweight,” and PTC surged after Schneider Electric agreed to a $22.6 billion buyout deal.
