US Stocks Snapshot-S&P 500, Nasdaq open higher as oil prices fall

Sept. 18 (Reuters) - The benchmark S&P 500 and the tech-heavy Nasdaq indexes opened slightly higher on Friday, while the Dow was flat as investors digested conflicting signals from lower oil prices and higher Treasury yields.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI rose 48.7 points, or 0.09%, at the open to 51,826.78. The S&P 500 .SPX rose 19.4 points, or 0.25%, at the open to 7,657.17, while the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC rose 103.8 points, or 0.39%, to 26,522.09.
