UTI’s Concorde and PDS Health Foundation Reach $1M Scholarship Milestone
UTI•Concorde Career Colleges, UTI’s healthcare division, and PDS Health Foundation have provided $1 million in tuition assistance through the Dr. Carolyn Ghazal Dental Assistant Scholarship over the past decade. Since 2016 the program has invested over $2 million and supported externships at 120 schools, with 60% of participants hired post-externship.

Since its launch in 2016 the program has invested over $2 million across 120 schools nationwide.

Over the past three years PDS Health has supported an average of 109 Concorde students annually through externships, with approximately 60% of participants hired by supporting practices upon completion. This model enhances practical training and directly contributes to workforce development in dental assisting.

Concorde’s partnership with PDS Health spans over 20 years, evolving from initial externship opportunities in California into a comprehensive educator-employer collaboration focused on mentorship, hands-on learning, and scholarship assistance.
