Valaris wins over $160 million in new contracts, lifts backlog to $4.6 billion

Valaris DS-18 received a two-well letter of award for up to seven months from Q4 2026; it was excluded from backlog.
Valaris 248 secures UK North Sea work
Valaris 248 secured a 1,080-day UK North Sea plug-and-abandonment job starting mid-2027, adding about $140 million in backlog.
Valaris 248 also received a 101-day UK North Sea extension for offshore wind accommodation support, adding about $7.5 million.
New contracts add more than $160 million to backlog
Valaris said it won new contracts and extensions worth more than $160 million in added backlog since May 4.
Total contract backlog reached about $4.6 billion as of Aug. 5.
