1. First Citizens Bank & Trust Co. Increases Stake in Vanguard S&P 500 ETF
According to its latest SEC filing, First Citizens Bank & Trust Co. boosted its holdings in the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF by 4.0% during the third quarter. The bank acquired an additional 1,886 shares, bringing its total position to 49,191 shares. At the end of the period, this stake represented 0.5% of the firm’s overall portfolio and ranked as its 23rd largest holding. The reported value of the position stood at $30.12 million, underscoring the ETF’s importance within First Citizens’ asset mix.
2. Other Institutional Investors Adjust Positions
Several hedge funds and investment advisors also modified their exposure to the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF in the third quarter.
