VEON's Kyivstar Expands Mobility with $2.2M E-wings Acquisition
VEON•Uklon will acquire E-wings for UAH 97.6 million (USD 2.2 million), adding 3,000 electric scooters across 11 Ukrainian cities to its platform. The transaction, expected to close in Q3 2026, extends Uklon’s multimodal mobility ecosystem by integrating micromobility with ride-hailing, delivery, ticketing and autonomous vehicle services.
1. Acquisition Details
Under the agreement, Uklon will pay UAH 97.6 million (approximately USD 2.2 million) to acquire 100% of E-wings’ shares, including its assets, intellectual property and key team members. The deal is slated to complete in the third quarter of 2026, subject to standard closing conditions.
2. Platform Expansion
Uklon’s digital platform currently offers ride-hailing, delivery, advertising and travel ticketing services. Integrating E-wings’ electric scooters will provide users with micromobility options alongside autonomous vehicle test rides, all accessible through a single interface.

E-wings, founded in Lviv, operates a fleet of about 3,000 electric scooters in 11 Ukrainian cities. The company specializes in low-emission urban transport and has developed the infrastructure and technology to support seamless micromobility services.
