VERA•Vera Therapeutics will retire Chief Regulatory Officer William Turner to Strategic Advisor in Q3 after his leadership in securing accelerated approval of TRUTAKNA for IgA nephropathy. Nancy Boman, with over 25 years of regulatory affairs experience including CRO roles at Kyverna and Novartis Gene Therapies, will succeed him.

William Turner will retire from the Chief Regulatory Officer role in the third quarter and transition to Strategic Advisor after leading the regulatory strategy for TRUTAKNA’s accelerated approval in IgA nephropathy.
2. Turner’s Regulatory Achievements
Turner built and led regulatory teams that secured Vera’s first therapy approval, establishing the company as a leader in autoimmune kidney diseases.
3. Boman’s Regulatory Expertise
Dr. Nancy Boman brings over 25 years of regulatory affairs experience, having served as Chief Regulatory Officer at Kyverna Therapeutics, Adicet Bio, Encoded Therapeutics and Novartis Gene Therapies, and held regulatory and clinical development leadership roles at Amgen, Genentech and Alder. She holds an M.D. and Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of British Columbia.

Boman will oversee regulatory strategies for new TRUTAKNA indications in other autoimmune kidney diseases and advance approval pathways for additional pipeline assets.
