ViaSat-3 F3 lifted off on April 29 aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy from LC-39A at Kennedy Space Center, separated in five hours and acquired its initial signals minutes later, confirming the satellite’s health and orbit insertion.

Engineered to deliver over 1 Tbps of capacity, ViaSat-3 F3 employs advanced payload and beamforming technology to optimize spectral efficiency and will provide high-speed connectivity across the Asia-Pacific region.

3. Constellation Completion and Service Timeline

F3 completes Viasat’s three-satellite ViaSat-3 constellation, joining F1 in service and F2 in testing, and is set to enter operational service in late summer, enhancing network throughput and resilience for defense and enterprise customers.
