VinFast completed its restructuring into three distinct automotive brands—ultra-luxury Lac Hong, mass-market VF and commercial Green—and unveiled two new Lac Hong models, the 800S and 900S, ahead of their 2027 launch. Both ultra-luxury models feature tri-motor powertrains up to 460 kW, premium materials and advanced suspension systems.

1. Strategic Brand Structuring

VinFast has reorganized its automotive portfolio into three distinct brands: Lac Hong ultra-luxury, VF mass-market passenger EVs and Green commercial mobility. The structure aims to clarify customer segmentation and streamline product development across luxury, mainstream and service vehicle lines.

2. Unveiling Lac Hong 800S and 900S

The company introduced two flagship ultra-luxury models—Lac Hong 800S and 900S—featuring a bamboo-inspired grille, gold-plated alloy accents and heritage motifs. Both cabins use premium Nappa leather, rare woods, advanced safety systems and exclusive amenities such as zero-gravity seating and starlight headliners.

3. Performance Specifications and 2027 Launch

Both models offer an all-new fully active suspension system and can be configured with a 460 kW tri-motor powertrain for superior dynamic stability. VinFast plans a commercial launch of the Lac Hong 800S and 900S in 2027 to compete in the global ultra-luxury EV segment.

4. Market Leadership and Sales Momentum

VinFast has held the No.1 EV market share in Vietnam for 16 consecutive months and delivered a national record of 175,099 vehicles in 2025. This strategic reorganization and luxury expansion support the company’s long-term objective of enhancing global competitiveness and revenue diversification.
