Virtuix Showcases AI VTW and FARP Trainer at TSIS After Air Force SBIR Win
VTIX•Virtuix will demonstrate its AI-driven VTW platform and FARP trainer at TSIS 2026 after winning U.S. Air Force Phase I SBIR funding and being appointed lead integrator for a multi-user virtual infantry system with Marine Corps TECOM. It sold Omni One treadmills to West Point, USAF Academy, Yokota Air Base.
1. TSIS 2026 Demonstrations
Virtuix will present its AI-enabled Virtual Terrain Walk (VTW) platform and Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP) trainer at the Training and Simulation Industry Symposium in Orlando on June 17–18, targeting military leaders and government officials seeking immersive mission planning and readiness solutions.
2. U.S. Air Force SBIR Award
In May 2026 Virtuix secured Phase I funding through the U.S. Air Force AFWERX SBIR program to advance development of its VTW platform, which reconstructs geo-specific virtual environments for full-body mission rehearsal.
3. Marine Corps Integrator Appointment
The company was appointed lead integrator by U.S. Marine Corps Training and Education Command via partner KBR to build a multi-user virtual infantry training system using four Omni One omni-directional treadmills.
4. Omni One Sales and Navy R&D
Virtuix has sold Omni One treadmills to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Air Force Academy and Yokota Air Base, and entered a cooperative research and development agreement with the U.S. Navy to expand its defense footprint.
