Warburg Pincus Capital Solutions Founders Fund makes strategic investment in Awayday
ARES•Awayday closed a significant investment from Warburg Pincus via its Capital Solutions Founders Fund. Terms were not disclosed.
1. Investment details
Awayday, a U.S. vacation rental management company, manages more than 18,000 properties nationwide through local brands and has more than 1,800 employees. Ares Private Equity and LightBay Capital will remain controlling shareholders. The proceeds will fund capital returns to existing equity investors, including Ares and LightBay, and distributions to rollover equity partners and local operators.
