Waters Unveils BioResolve Peptide and GTxResolve Lipid Columns for 3x Faster GLP-1, 2x Faster LNP Analysis
WAT•Waters launched BioResolve Peptide and GTxResolve Lipid Phenyl-Hexyl+ and C18+ reversed-phase columns delivering up to 3x faster GLP-1 peptide characterization and 2x faster lipid nanoparticle analysis with 2x resolving power for low-level impurities. The superficially porous 230 Å particle columns fit existing HPLC/UHPLC workflows and ship June 9, 2026.
1. Launch of Novel Reversed-Phase Column Platform
Waters introduced the BioResolve™ Peptide and GTxResolve™ Lipid Phenyl-Hexyl+ and C18+ reversed-phase columns, marking the first platform explicitly QC batch-tested for GLP-1 peptide and lipid nanoparticle separations. These columns target reliable separation of structurally similar impurities in GLP-1 receptor agonists, insulin analogs and LNP-based drug substances.
2. Enhanced Analytical Performance
The new columns deliver up to 3x faster GLP-1 peptide characterization and 2x faster LNP component analysis, while doubling resolving power and sensitivity to identify low-level impurities. Their superficially porous 230 Å particles and optimized surface chemistries support sharper peaks, reduced run times and improved regulatory-ready data without altering existing mobile-phase methods.
3. Workflow Compatibility and Global Availability
Designed for seamless integration into both HPLC and UHPLC systems, the columns offer ready-to-use methods that simplify method development and reduce production bottlenecks. Waters will begin shipping the 1.6 µm Phenyl-Hexyl+ phase globally on June 9, 2026, supporting biopharmaceutical manufacturers from research through commercialization.
