YPF sells Chachahuén conventional assets in Mendoza for USD 200 million

YPF sold its stake in the Chachahuén conventional upstream cluster in Mendoza to Energía Mendocina and Compañía Andina de Petróleo y Gas.

Deal value is set at USD 200 million, effective June 1, 2026; closing remains subject to customary conditions.

The assets include YPF’s interests in several concessions, along with related pipelines and inventory held in associated warehouses.

In Q2 2026, YPF’s share of cluster output averaged about 10,000 bbl/day of oil and 0.03 million m3/day of natural gas.

The transaction aligns with YPF’s Plan 4x4 portfolio optimization, shifting focus from conventional assets toward non-conventional development.
