Zelenskiy says US warnings on ballistic strikes have fully resumed
SPY•Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said US warnings about imminent Russian ballistic missile strikes had been fully restored after recent issues. He also said SpaceX's Starshield service had resumed operating at speeds of up to 420 kilometres per hour after being throttled earlier in October.
1. Warnings restored
Zelenskiy said US warnings about imminent Russian ballistic missile strikes, which he described as critical to Ukraine's air defences, had been fully restored. He said he discussed the warnings with US special envoy Steve Witkoff in Oslo and described the changes as results of that meeting.
2. Starshield and talks
Zelenskiy said SpaceX's Starshield satellite internet had been working at speeds of up to 420 kilometres per hour since early Saturday, after it was throttled earlier in October amid diplomatic pressure on Kyiv from Washington. He said Ukraine would not discuss limits to its armed forces or enforced post-war neutrality in upcoming technical talks between Kyiv, Moscow and Washington in November.
3. Territorial red line
Zelenskiy renewed his push for a trilateral, US-brokered meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He said the issue of territories was a red line that could be discussed exclusively at the level of leaders.
