Zscaler collaborates with IBM, Red Hat to shield private apps during patch gaps
ZS•Zscaler partnered with IBM and Red Hat to protect private applications between vulnerability disclosure and patch deployment. The collaboration combines Zscaler Autonomous Application Shield with Lightwell to block exploit attempts inline and deliver validated source-level remediations.
1. Protecting apps before patches
The collaboration aims to apply application-specific protections in real time, without waiting for patches, as exploitation cycles become faster. Autonomous Application Shield is available through an early access program; rollout timing for the joint capabilities may change.
