Antin to sell majority of US-based Vicinity Energy to Harrison Street
KEN•Antin agreed to sell a majority stake in Vicinity Energy to Harrison Street, valuing the business at $2.92 billion. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals.
1. Deal details
Harrison Street plans to buy the stake through a joint venture with Kenon Holdings. Antin created Vicinity in 2019 through the carve-out of Veolia’s US district energy business. Vicinity provides district heating and cooling to more than 1,000 buildings across 12 major US cities under long-term contracts.
