Associated Bank Names Andy Miner to Drive AI Automation in Commercial Banking
ASB•Associated Banc-Corp named Andy Miner senior director of AI for Corporate & Commercial Banking to lead AI strategy, use-case delivery and data risk stewardship. Following record 2025 growth and Dallas expansion, Associated will deploy AI in portfolio management, treasury, payments and loan processing to accelerate workflows and deepen client insights.

Associated Banc-Corp appointed Andy Miner as senior director of AI for Corporate & Commercial Banking. Miner will report to executive vice president Phillip Trier and hold single accountability for AI strategy, use-case delivery, adoption and oversight of data risk within the line of business.
2. AI Strategy Initiatives
The new role will focus on embedding AI in internal workflows such as portfolio management, treasury services, payments and loan processing. Expected benefits include faster loan approvals, personalized client insights and automation of routine tasks to allow bankers to concentrate on solution development.

4. Miner’s Background
Miner arrives from U.S. Bank, where he built enterprise analytics and AI capabilities across more than 60 team members, and previously led a 100-person global data team at Target. He holds a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and teaches AI analytics at Pacific Coast Banking School.
