Autodesk Tops Q1 Targets, Raises FY27 Guidance and Buys MaintainX for $3.6B

1. Q1 Financial Performance
Autodesk reported first-quarter revenue of $1.93 billion, an 18% year-over-year increase, and non-GAAP EPS of $2.99, outpacing consensus estimates of $2.84 and $1.89 billion. GAAP net income reached $491 million with GAAP EPS of $2.32, while billings climbed 18% to $1.688 billion.
2. Raised Fiscal 2027 Guidance
Following strong execution, Autodesk lifted its full-year non-GAAP EPS outlook to $12.40–$12.65 and revenue guidance to $8.15–$8.22 billion. For the second quarter ending July, the company expects revenue of $2.01–$2.02 billion and non-GAAP EPS of $3.10–$3.14.
3. $3.6B MaintainX Acquisition
Autodesk agreed to acquire MaintainX in an all-cash deal valued at $3.6 billion, funded by cash and debt financing. MaintainX brings over $135 million in annualized recurring revenue with 50% growth, extending Autodesk’s platform into operations and enabling seamless data flow across design, make and operate workflows.
