Bank of America Offers Free Access to 250 Museums and $5M Library Grant
BAC•Bank of America is offering free admission to 250 nonprofit cultural institutions nationwide during the July 4th weekend and provided a grant to extend National Archives hours until July 5. The bank also committed $5 million to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library and is matching $500,000 for the Intrepid Museum.
1. Free Access Expansion
During the July 4th weekend, Bank of America cardholders will receive complimentary admission to 250 cultural institutions through its Museums on Us program. A grant will extend National Archives operating hours until 10:00 p.m. through July 5, enabling more visitors to view the Declaration of Independence.
2. Civic and Cultural Grants
The bank is supporting local celebrations including the Boston Pops Fireworks and The Henry Ford’s Salute to America, matching $500,000 for the Intrepid Museum’s mission and providing a $5 million founding gift for the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library opening July 4 in Medora, North Dakota.
