Bread Financial has teamed with Academy Sports + Outdoors to introduce the myAcademy Rewards Mastercard, now available across all Academy stores and digital channels. The collaboration positions the co-branded card at the center of Academy’s loyalty ecosystem, enabling Bread Financial to tap into the retailer’s 300+ outlets in 21 states.

Cardholders earn 5% off everyday Academy purchases and unlimited 2% back on all other spending, with rewards deposited directly into their loyalty account. New enrollees receive a $15 welcome credit, $30 off a $30+ purchase upon account opening and a $25 reward after spending $500.

By embedding its credit solution into Academy’s revamped loyalty program, Bread Financial expands its private-label and co-brand card portfolio, targeting middle-income families who value outdoor recreation. The rollout is expected to drive incremental loan receivables and fee income while deepening customer engagement across retail and digital touchpoints.
