DuPont Unveils WAVE PRO Tool Integrating Four Water Treatment Technologies
DD•DuPont has launched WAVE PRO, a free web-based water treatment design platform that integrates ultrafiltration, ion exchange resins, reverse osmosis and nanofiltration modeling into a single interface. The tool supports drinking, industrial utility, wastewater and seawater desalination applications, enabling more accurate simulations and reduced manual input.
1. WAVE PRO Multi-Technology Integration
WAVE PRO consolidates modeling for ultrafiltration, ion exchange resins, reverse osmosis and nanofiltration into a unified online platform, eliminating the need for separate simulations and reducing manual data-entry errors.
2. Enhanced Design Accuracy and Efficiency
By capturing interdependencies between core water treatment technologies, the tool provides realistic performance projections, optimizes membrane and energy usage, and can demonstrate how upstream UF pretreatment improves downstream RO outcomes.
3. Platform Accessibility and Features
Accessible via any Windows or iOS device with a single sign-on, WAVE PRO supports collaborative design through shared projection files and report distribution, and is available free of charge on DuPont’s water solutions portal.
4. Strategic Impact on Water Solutions Business
This integrated tool strengthens DuPont Water Solutions’ digital offerings, potentially increasing customer engagement, expediting project workflows and driving revenue growth across municipal, industrial utility, wastewater and desalination segments.
