Entergy Posts $3.91 Full-Year EPS and Secures Key 500 kV Transmission Approvals

Entergy reported fourth-quarter 2025 EPS of $0.51 and full-year EPS of $3.91, up from $0.66 and $3.65 in 2024 on both as-reported and adjusted bases. It secured approvals for 500 kV transmission projects in Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas and a special rate contract for Google.

1. 2025 Financial Results

Entergy reported fourth-quarter 2025 earnings of $236 million, or $0.51 per share, down from $286 million (0.65) a year earlier, on both as-reported and adjusted bases. Full-year 2025 earnings rose to $1.758 billion, or $3.91 per share, compared with $1.577 billion, $3.65 per share in 2024, driven by higher retail sales volume and regulatory actions.

2. Regulatory and Infrastructure Milestones

During 2025, the Arkansas Public Service Commission approved Entergy Arkansas’s Jefferson Power Station project and special Google rate contract; the Louisiana PSC signed off on the West Bank 500 kV transmission line; and the Texas PUC approved Entergy Texas’s Cypress-to-Legend 500 kV transmission project.

3. Strategic Growth and Recognition

Entergy advanced filings to acquire the Cottonwood generating facility and to build new CCCT, solar and resilience assets, solidifying its data-center and industrial customer agreements. The company was named a Top Utility in economic development for the 18th consecutive year and received an EEI Corporate Citizenship Award.
