1. Hydrogen power plan
Evolution Metals & Technologies signed a non-binding letter of intent with VIVIFY Technology for behind-the-meter hydrogen power at its planned U.S. magnet campus. The plan targets modular, containerized power added as production phases start, reducing reliance on grid interconnection timelines. Phase I of the integrated rare earth magnet campus is planned as the largest hydrometallurgical facility in the Western Hemisphere.
2. South Korea expansion
Separately, the group is scaling magnet output in Pohang, South Korea, to 10,000 metric tons from 1,000, backed by a 750-megawatt infrastructure agreement.
