HP Debuts Quantum-Resistant LaserJets and AI-Driven Cross-Device Connectivity
HP launched its LaserJet Pro 4000/4100 and Enterprise 5000/6000 Series printers offering quantum-resistant security, AI-powered workflows and 50% faster document processing. It also unveiled HP IQ on EliteBook X G2 AI PCs with Ask IQ, Analyze and Meeting Agent tools and HP NearSense for cross-device file sharing.
1. LaserJet Portfolio Launch
HP launched two new printer series: the LaserJet Pro 4000/4100 for SMBs and the LaserJet Enterprise 5000/6000 for larger teams. Both offer the fastest two-sided printing in class, up to 50% faster document processing, print speeds up to 57 ppm, AI workflow tools, TerraJet Toner with 25% lower ongoing costs and quantum-resistant security.
2. HP IQ and NearSense Connectivity
HP introduced HP IQ, an on-device AI layer on EliteBook X G2 AI PCs featuring Ask IQ for contextual answers, Analyze for file summaries and Meeting Agent for live note capture. Simultaneously, HP NearSense built on extended D2DI technology enables one-click PC-to-PC file sharing and meeting joins, with plans to extend to Android and HP peripherals.
3. Workstations and Gaming Expansions
The company expanded its high-performance compute portfolio with the Z8 Fury workstation supporting up to four NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 GPUs and a Max Side Panel expander, and updated ZBook X G2 and ZBook 8 G2 mobile workstations. The HyperX OMEN MAX 45L and 35L gaming desktops also launched, powered by Intel Core Ultra 270K processors, RTX 50 series GPUs, enhanced cooling and OMEN AI optimization.
