Huntington Bancshares 2026 Basel III report shows CET1 capital ratio at 10%

Huntington Bancshares released its 2026 second-quarter Basel III capital disclosure for June 30, 2026, showing capital ratios above minimum requirements.

• CET1 ratio was 10% at the holding company, 11.8% at Huntington National Bank; Tier 1 leverage ratios were 8.8% and 9.3%.
• Total risk-based capital ratio was 13.6% at the holding company, 13.8% at the bank; total risk-weighted assets were USD 214.16 billion.
• Capital buffers remained well above the 2.5% requirement, with conservation buffers of 5.3% for the holding company, 5.8% for the bank.
• Total risk-based capital was USD 29.08 billion, including USD 21.39 billion of CET1 capital and USD 4.8 billion of Tier 2 capital.
