Immunic appointed Erik Lundgren as CEO effective June 1, 2026, succeeding Daniel Vitt who shifts to scientific strategy. Lundgren brings nearly two decades of biopharma experience at Genentech and Roche, including leading the Ocrevus® launch and overseeing global commercial portfolios.
2. Clinical Development Focus and Milestones
Under Lundgren’s leadership, Immunic will advance vidofludimus calcium through the pivotal phase 3 ENSURE program in relapsing MS with top-line data expected by year-end, and launch a planned phase 3 trial in primary progressive MS ahead of potential NDA filing and regulatory approval.
3. NDA and Commercialization Preparation
The company is preparing for a new drug application for vidofludimus calcium in RMS and PPMS, building commercial infrastructure and strategic plans to support market launch upon regulatory clearance, positioning Immunic as a commercial-stage MS therapy provider.
