Immutep's IMP761 shows significant suppression of T-cell immune responses in Phase I trial
IMMP•Immutep reported that a single infusion of IMP761 significantly suppressed T-cell-driven immune responses in healthy volunteers, with stronger effects at higher drug exposure. The drug was well tolerated across seven dose levels, and results from the multiple-dose phase are expected in the first half of 2027.
1. Phase I findings
Immutep announced positive Phase I results for IMP761 in healthy volunteers, presented at ACR Convergence 2026. A single infusion significantly suppressed T-cell-driven immune responses, with stronger effects at higher drug exposure.
2. Safety and next steps
IMP761 was well tolerated across all seven dose levels, with no serious or severe adverse events reported. The ongoing multiple-dose phase has shown no new safety signals, and the drug's pharmacokinetic profile supports dosing every four weeks. Results from that phase are expected in the first half of 2027 to guide dose selection for a potential Phase II program.
