Kaltura Open-Sources AI Agent Skills Covering 100+ REST Services for Rich Media
Kaltura released an open-source suite of AI agent skills enabling coding agents to build avatar-guided portals, intelligent webinars and automated content pipelines on its API-first platform. The modules cover over 100 REST services, auto-update via continuous validation, and support major agents such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex and GitHub Copilot.
1. Release of Open-Source AI Agent Skills
Kaltura published a collection of production-tested AI agent skills that enable coding agents to autonomously build rich-media applications—such as avatar-guided portals and virtual events—on its agentic digital experience platform.
2. Extensive API Coverage and Continuous Validation
The skill modules map to over 100 REST services and undergo automated test runs against production APIs to ensure security, compliance and up-to-date integration patterns.
3. Key Application Scenarios
Loaded with these skills, AI agents can generate avatar-interactive websites, configure multi-session webinars via natural-language commands and orchestrate end-to-end content production pipelines including video generation, captions and translations.
4. Discovery Standards for AI Agents
Kaltura adopted four standards—Model Context Protocol, Agent Skills Standard, llms.txt and Context7 MCP integration—to allow AI agents to auto-discover and load skills within any MCP-compatible development environment.
