Manitowoc’s Grove wins UK order as J&D Pierce adds multiple all-terrain cranes to fleet
Manitowoc reported structural steel contractor J&D Pierce ordered multiple Grove all-terrain cranes to expand its owned heavy-lift fleet.
Deliveries included GMK5250XL-1, GMK5150XL, GMK4100L-2 models, lifting J&D Pierce to the UK’s largest Grove all-terrain fleet.
Cranes are slated for major UK projects, including an HVDC energy development in Scotland, a new arena in Cardiff, a stadium redevelopment in North Wales.
