Nebius has signed a 10-year agreement for a 22MW AI infrastructure deployment at Kao Data's Harlow campus, marking part of its £1.7 billion UK investment. The Harlow facility will host Nebius AI Cloud and Token Factory on 100% renewable energy with direct-to-chip liquid cooling.
Nebius and Kao Data have agreed a 10-year contract for a 22MW AI infrastructure deployment at the Harlow data centre campus. This multi-megawatt capacity commitment underpins Nebius’s push into advanced AI cloud services within the UK market.
The Harlow facility will host the Nebius AI Cloud platform and its managed inference service, Nebius Token Factory, delivering GPU-accelerated computing and model deployment at industrial scale. This placement provides local enterprises and research institutions with low-latency access to AI compute resources.
Kao Data’s Harlow campus is powered by 100% renewable energy, backed by HVO-fueled generators, and employs direct-to-chip liquid cooling to minimize water usage. These features align with Nebius’s commitment to sustainable AI operations and the UK Government’s environmental targets.
This deployment forms part of Nebius’s £1.7 billion investment plan in the UK, supporting the Government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan and reinforcing Kao Data’s position as a leading European AI research hub. The agreement strengthens Nebius’s global footprint and advances UK domestic compute capacity for academic and enterprise users.
