Oppenheimer & Co. appointed Bill Farmer as Managing Director and Head of Aerospace & Defense Technology Investment Banking in Baltimore, reporting to Robin Graham. He brings over 25 years’ experience and has executed more than 100 aerospace, defense, space and government services transactions.

Bill Farmer has joined Oppenheimer & Co. as Managing Director and Head of Aerospace & Defense Technology Investment Banking. Based in Baltimore, he will report directly to Robin Graham and lead mergers, acquisitions and capital markets initiatives for the firm’s aerospace and defense technology clients.

Farmer brings over 25 years of investment banking experience, having advised on more than 100 transactions. His career includes leadership roles at Brown Gibbons Lang, Stifel, Jefferies and Lazard, spanning mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and valuation assignments.
3. Strategic Focus
In his new role, Farmer will work closely with equity and debt capital markets teams to deliver integrated advice and execution. His appointment reflects Oppenheimer’s push to deepen coverage in aerospace, defense, space and government services amid growing sector demand.
