PepsiCo says Gatorade released initial Body of Science findings on women’s hydration and fueling patterns.
- A study of more than 500 women found 43% arrived at workouts dehydrated.
- 57% consumed inadequate carbohydrates during exercise.
- Average sodium replacement during activity was about 20%, versus a 50% recommendation, supporting a shift toward more personalized hydration guidance.
