SpyGlass Pharma Names Shannon Treviño as General Counsel to Oversee Phase 3 BIM-IOL Trials

Her strategic legal oversight will support ongoing Phase 3 BIM-IOL System trials and planning for potential commercialization of the long-acting glaucoma implant.

SpyGlass Pharma announced the appointment of Shannon Treviño as general counsel. Treviño holds a J.D. summa cum laude from LMU Loyola Law School and brings corporate, securities and compliance expertise from senior roles in healthcare and law firms.
2. M&A Leadership Track Record
As General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Inari Medical, Treviño led legal and compliance during the company’s $4.9 billion acquisition by Stryker and managed the LimFlow integration. Her background also includes advising growth-stage companies on governance, capital formation and transactions.
3. Phase 3 and Commercialization Support
In her new role, Treviño will drive legal strategy for SpyGlass’s registrational Phase 3 BIM-IOL System trials, working with regulators on FDA filings. Her oversight is intended to accelerate NDA submission and lay groundwork for a potential commercial launch of the sustained-release glaucoma implant.
