TGE to Premiere Dog Day Evening June 12, Opens in HK and Macau June 18; L’OFFICIEL Café Fit-Out Completed
AMTD•TGE’s film Dog Day Evening premieres at the Shanghai Film Festival on June 12, then opens in Hong Kong and Macau cinemas on June 18 and Mainland China on June 27. TGE completed its second L’OFFICIEL COFFEE and BAR fit-out at Macau’s City of Dreams, marking its flagship café opening.
1. Dog Day Evening Global Release
TGE’s dark comedy Dog Day Evening, directed by two-time Hong Kong Film Award winner Tin Shu Mak, will debut at the Shanghai Film Festival on June 12, 2026. The movie features a star-studded cast including Michael Ning and Fish Liew, opens in Hong Kong and Macau on June 18 and rolls out in Mainland China on June 27, positioning AMTD as a growing film producer.
2. Macau Café Fit-Out Completed
TGE has finished the interior fit-out of its second L’OFFICIEL COFFEE and BAR at the City of Dreams resort in Macau. The new venue sits adjacent to the House of Dancing Water theatre, and the group plans to announce the official opening date soon as part of its strategy to expand L’OFFICIEL hospitality concepts globally.
