UFPI•South Carolina structural packaging expansion
UFP Industries plans a new UFP Packaging manufacturing facility in Cherokee County, South Carolina to expand Structural Packaging capacity.
The company said the investment is about $5.31 million in real property, machinery and equipment, and it expects 136 jobs over five years.
The site will produce wood packaging products, which UFP said will boost service levels for industrial customers across the Southeast and national accounts.
The project is also intended to increase production flexibility across UFP Packaging’s U.S. network, supporting a shift toward higher-margin, value-added offerings.
